Special Tankhouse Solutions

We provide tailor-made special tankhouse solutions that are developed in close collaboration with the customer. The use of modern technologies and out-of-the-box approaches, combined with METTOP ITT’s experience leads to maximum customer benefit.
We are proud to have a close collaboration with the University of Leoben and interdisciplinary cooperation partners to develop and realize new, extraordinary tankhouse solutions.

One promising example is the use of neural networks in the tankhouse. This technology combines comprehensive data from the tankhouse and upstream processes to provide output forecasts. The big advantage is that the system is self-adjusting, namely it learns - just like a human brain - from the input data. Using this technology, tankhouse performance can be predicted from the anode analysis: For example, based on an adjusted anode loading plan, a defined current efficiency can be achieved.
